Hunnu Air


Hunnu Air, previously known as Mongolian Airlines Group, was established in September of 2011. It is now part of the Mongolian mining conglomerate, MAK group which is the majority shareholder. Hunnu Air is the largest private airline and the only carrier in Mongolia serving domestic and major international destinations.

Currently, Hunnu Air operates domestic scheduled and charter flights to 10 domestic destinations in 7 provinces, such as Bayankhongor, Umnugobi, Khuvsgul, Khovd, Zavkhan, Dornod and Gobi-Altai. Also operates scheduled international services to Hong Kong, Shanghai, China and Bangkok, Thailand along with a regional destination of Manzhouli, China. Hunnu Air operates seasonal charter flights to Sanya, Hainan; Cheju, Korea; Haneda, Japan; Irkutsk, Russia; Ulan-Ude, Russia and occasional charter flights to Southeast Asian countries.

Hunnu Air is planning on revitalizing its fleet with more modern and newer aircraft into the operation and opening more international destinations, especially to long haul destinations with wide body aircraft in the coming years.
